This role is ideal for skilled tradespeople who take pride in precision, professionalism, and delivering real results. As a System Installer for DCM, you’ll be boots-on-the-ground — installing, servicing, and maintaining dust collectors, oil mist filtration systems, and industrial air filtration equipment. You’ll visit client facilities, diagnose issues, capture on-site data, provide accurate quotes, and assist our team in executing clean, safe, high-performance installations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform field inspections at client sites to identify system needs, failures, and improvement opportunities.
  • Take measurements, assess airflow conditions, and document current ductwork/equipment.
  • Provide on-site quotes based on standardized DCM pricing and system requirements.
  • Install dust collectors, oil mist collectors, ductwork, drop tubes, hoods, and related components.
  • Replace filters, seals, motors, belts, and other serviceable parts.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on filtration equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment that meets OSHA & NFPA standards.
  • Communicate findings and installation progress with DCM leadership.
  • Deliver a professional, respectful customer experience at every site.
Requirements
  • 3+ years working in trades: HVAC, mechanical, industrial maintenance, or similar.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, installation drawings, and airflow diagrams.
  • Comfortable on lifts, ladders, and working in active manufacturing environments.
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must provide your own basic tools (specialty equipment provided when needed).
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor safely.
  • Excellent communication and professionalism when dealing with clients.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA safety standards is a major plus.
